PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY IN TEACHING THE GAME OF SOCCER
I use my professional experience to give youths the B.A.S.I.C. skills needed to be successful soccer players and to be Good Will Ambassadors for their country when playing.
Soccer is about Balance, qualities in teaching ‘fair play’ at all times both on/off the field holding the players responsible, accountable with good morals, ethics and integrity.
Having the right Attitude! Half your battle being accepted is having the right approach to life. If you are accepting of failure and can deal with it as well as an enjoyable win, you are a “teammate”. Our youngsters need to be taught through developmental appropriate training that life is one huge team environment…we need to be able to put our differences aside and get the job done.
Having the Skill to get the job done is vital to ones success. Kids need to be given the chance to succeed as well as fail in a fun filled environment so they can make the right adjustments to achieve, build their confidence and better their skill repeatedly to be the best they possibly can.
Having the natural Instinct and Control of their mental, psychological and physiological condition to play, perform and live life in ‘the zone’.
Youth soccer is growing rapidly, and their ability needs to be directed in the right direction at an early age in order to develop these skills as they reach their “teen” years.
These years are the most crucial years in deciding whether or not they will make their childhood dreams come true, and reach the professional ranks.
